Please tell me how to apply.

Applications can be made online or in person at a counter (limited to Minato City residents).

  • If the number of applications for general entry exceeds the capacity, a lottery will be held.
  • Charity entries will be on a first come, first served basis.
  • If you don't know how to enter, please check here.
What are the entry qualifications for the Fun Run and Youth Run?
[Fun Run]
Limited to Minato City residents. There is no age limit. Preschool children can participate, but they must be accompanied by a guardian.
[Youth Run]
Limited to junior high and high school students who live or attend school in Minato City (born between April 2, 2006 and April 1, 2012).
I don't attend high school, can I still participate in the Youth Run?
As long as you live in Minato city, you can complete the race within the time limit and your date of birth meets the eligibility requirements, you can participate.
My child would like to participate in the Fun Run. How do I apply?
Applications are accepted online. Gurdians must register on RUNNET and apply through the "Family Entry" page.

Can I accompany my children in the Fun Run?
Preschool children may be accompanied by a guardian. Athlete bibs for escort runners will be sent in advance. However, children of school age or older who are able to run independently cannot be accompanied by a guardian.
Can I participate in a wheelchair?
Wheelchair users are not allowed to participate in the Half Marathon and Youth Run. Only wheelchairs for daily use are allowed to participate in the Fun Run, but for safety reasons, participants will be required to start from the back of the group.
Can people with disabilities participate?
Participants are welcome to participate in all events, but may be required to have an escort runner (there are separate conditions for wheelchair participants). Athlete bibs for escort runners will be sent out in advance. Please note that escort runners will not be introduced by the organizers.

I have completed the entry procedure, but can no longer participate in the race. Can I cancel or get a refund? Or can I transfer my entry to someone else?
Refunds and transfer of entry rights due to cancellation are not possible. However, it is possible to cancel your lottery application up until the deadline for lottery applications. (*For first-come, first-served events, cancellations are not possible after payment has been made, and if payment has not been made, your application will be automatically invalidated once the payment deadline has passed.)

I forgot to pay the participation fee after registering. Is it okay if I miss the payment deadline?
If the participation fee is not paid by the deadline, your entry will be void.
Can I apply after the application deadline or on the day of the event?
Applications will not be accepted after the application deadline or on the day of the event.
Can I have a substitute run?
Substitutes are not permitted in any events.
I'm not sure if my entry has been completed.
You can check the status of your application, including whether your application has been completed, on RUNNET. Log in from the "MY PAGE" banner at the top of the official event website and check the entry history on My Page. Please note that if you have entered as a family member or friend, the representative of the application must confirm. Also, if you pay the participation fee at a convenience store, it may take around 2days for the payment to be reflected on My Page.
When will I receive my number cards and the chip for time measurement?
The number cards and the chip for time measurement will be sent to your registered address in early November along with the program for the event, etc. There will be no reception at the venue on the day of the event, so please wear your number cards and the chip for the time measurement and come to the designated location at the designated time.
Is there a car or bicycle parking area?
There is no car or bicycle parking available. Please use public transportation.
Are there changing rooms?
There will be men's and women's changing rooms within the venue.
Can I store my valuables and luggage?
Valuables cannot be stored. There will be baggage storage areas (check-in areas) at Shiba Park and other locations (currently being arranged). Please attach the number sticker provided with your athlete bib in advance and leave your baggage in the designated area.
Can I change the size of the participation prize shirt after I have applied?
Please note that we cannot change the size after an application has been made.
I moved after applying. What happens to my mail?
Please update your registration information on your RUNNET My Page. Also, please submit a change of address form to your post office.

【On the day of the event】

Is there a time limit?
[Half marathon]: 2 hours 30 minutes, [Fun Run]: 30 minutes, [Youth Run]: 25 minutes
I forgot my number cards and the chip for time measurement on the day of the event.
Reissues will be available at the General Information Desk for a fee.
Should I return the chip for time measurement on the day?
There is no need to return it.
Where is the starting point?
All events will be held near Minato City's Shiba Park.
How is the starting order determined?
Half marathon: Divided into 4 corrals based on the time declared at the time of entry.
Fun Run: In order of the lines at the starting point.
Youth Run: In order of the lines at the starting point.
Will the starting area be crowded on the day of the race?
On the day of the race, there will be extensive vehicle traffic and pedestrian crossing restrictions around the starting line and course. Congestion is expected on the day of the race, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
How many water supply stations are there?
[Half marathon]
2 stations before the start, 6 stations along the course, and 1 station after the finish, for a total of 9 locations.
[Youth Run, Fun Run]
1 station before the start and 1 station after the finish, for a total of 2 stations.
What is available at the water supply stations?
Sports drinks and water. Please note that no food is provided during the race.
Is there a first aid station?
[Half Marathon]
Five stations will be set up in addition to the starting and finishing points.
[Youth Run]
One station will be set up at each of the starting and finishing points.
[Fun Run]
One station will be set up in addition to the starting and finishing points.
Are there toilets on the course?
Temporary toilets will be set up at the starting and finishing points as well as along the course not for the Fun Run.
Is there a possibility that the event will be cancelled on the day of the event?
Information regarding whether the event will be held or not due to bad weather on the day of the event will be posted on the official event website early in the morning on the day of the event (time to be determined).

【After the finish】

Is there a record certificate (completion certificate)?
This will be your online completion certificate on the day. You can view it yourself after you finish the race using your smartphone or computer.
Can I view the records online?
On the day of the race, you can check the latest results on Runners Update. The race results will be published on RUNNET at a later date. You can also check the results on the official race website.
